No blowing their house up is the best option but ear plugs will have to do. Hopefully they'll move out soon x Good Luck

I used too, I live in an apartment with noisy neighbours as well. People can be so ignorant. Anyway, if you don't like ear plugs you can try a white noise machine. I bought one off of E-Bay for around $20 and it's great for blocking noise. The one I have has a couple of noise options including white noise, rain, ocean and crickets. However some people find these noises annoying and they don't block out the noise 100%, but it may besomething to consider.

I think that ear plugs would not be very comfortable to sleep with, but if you are comfortable with them, that's fine.
A better option might be a white-noise generator, which makes kind of a static-y soft noise that masks other noises.
It is very relaxing, and will lull you to sleep.
You could also try honeycomb type window treatments, which have cells running along them that trap air. They look like pleated shades, but are a little thicker, insulating you from cold, heat and noise as well.
If your neighbors are so loud that you need even more help to sleep, try combining some or all of the above methods.

To be honest ear plugs are great. But maybe you should sort out the neighbours? They shouldn't be making noise like that after 11, if so its a case for the police im affraid.

You need to talk to your neighbours. Blame the construction of the building and tell them that sounds travels very badly through the walls/floors so could they please help by being less noisy. Explicitly tell them the 'voices carry through to my flat as well and the trampoline'.

Try the point of view that you both have to live with a lousy construction so you need to make the best of it together!

Other than that, if you go for squishy earplugs instead of hard ones! Easier to sleep with.

u can also wear headphones to bed. not the ones that
go in ur ear though. they hurt. the ones that go over ur head. they fall off during the night so ur not wearing them all night so u can hear if ur phone is ringing or something. laters:-)

poke little holes in the trampoline in the shape of an X all the way accross. Then one night while your trying to sleep you'll hear "Boing....Boing....SNAP....AHHHHH....CRASH" and you'll know you're all set to go to sleep for quite awhile. As far as the mom I would reccomend to the family to lock her in a confined space since I'm sure they don't want to deal with her just as much as you don't.

the best option is to invite the neighbours round just about the time the noise usually kicks in so they can hear it, maybe just maybe they might be reasonable people
