just the memory of that song makes my heart hurt.

If you like country, Mindy McCready sings a lot of feel-better songs.
A Girl's Gotta Do What a Girl's Gotta Do is good.
I also like Good As I Was To You...Very good!
Also, The Wreckers song Leave The Peices.

Behind These Hazel Eyes by Kelly Clarkson was very popular around the time I broke up with my last bf. Made it much worse.

the song that made me feel worse when i broke up with my ex-boyfriend was between "since you've gone"and behind these hazel eyes' by kelly and we belong together by mariah carey and actually there wasn't a song that made me feel better just songs that didn't make me feel as bad as i was feeling and they were "sugar were going down" by fall out boy and some songs from my fav. artists!

Ok...bear in mind that I am a total rocker....but the songs that helped me through my recent break-up were "Since U Been Gone" and "Because of You" by Kelly Clarkson. LOL

Oh, also "Behind These Hazel Eyes" by Kelly Clarkson, too.

Listen to country music. It is all about love ... mostly lost love.

It will drive you down to the point you can pick yourself up again. I can't suggest a specific song, but country is all about that kind of thing.

After listening to them for awhile, you'll realize that you're not the only one who's gone through this ... and you'll soon come to realize how silly it is to feel so bad.

There are others out there for you ... go get one!

"I'm a Survivor" by Destiny's Child and "Bring on the Rain" by Joe Dee Messina totally got me through my biggest, messiest break-up ever. Whenever I would start to get down, I'd try to remember the words to one of those songs and it would take my mind off my stupid ex and made me realize how strong I was.

"Because of You" by Kelly Clarkson. my friend just blamed her ex for their brakeup she also listened to "How to Deal" i think it's called by Frankie J i think, "We Belong Together" by Mariah Carey, when she was in denial, and "Say Goodbye" by Chris Brown when she was over it, and then she started listening to those upbeat breakup songs like "walk away" and "since u been gone" both by kelly clarkson

if ur going through a breakup, i am really sorry about that
hope this helps :)
