yes it shows your determination and passion for fulfilling your career. it's a charcter building stepping stone for any career and any employer would see that as a plus. and besides you di d gain valuable experience.

Of course. Your internship is like being at an actual paying job. It shows that you have some experience in the field that you are entering. Employers see this as a plus on your part, because they know that you have what it takes to do the job.

Absolutely. It is an unpaid job. You gain valuable experience from internships! Definitely highlight the areas that pertain to the job you are applying for.

If your internship was with a fairly large multinational organization, it would certainly be a good idea to add it as "job experience". I've witnessed HR offices attach credibility to this.

You need to decide if being an intern is going to help or hinder
your cause.

For instance, if you were Bill Clinton's intern, you might
think twice about including it.

Generally, if the place that interned is relevant, then yes
you should include it. The same is true for volunteer work.

yes, it can never hurt. and it is partly a job experience. every little thing helps. if you can get a refrence from your place of internship would help too.
