I want to help these people, can we get the relief funds flowing NOW to go get these people caught in the crossfire? If not can anyone send money to the taxis? I dont have alot of money but I can afford $100.

Women and children are trapped there, I think we should get them out. Maybe you do not care about them but I DO!!!!

The lady in the article says it costs $100 for a taxi and that noone has it. They are trying to get to Beirut. Theres women and children huddled into the hallways and the children are suffering and there is no clean water, how do I help? Can I dontate to the Lebanese red cross directly or can I do it from the local chapter. Id rather wire a taxi somethings got to be done now...

I think it's great that you want to donate $100! That said, I think that you should donate them for another purpose like buying blankets, first aid kits, food etc.. because road travel at the moment is not safe over there so anyone who's stuck there would be safer staying put than trying to leave through a taxi!
I'm currently donating money to the Lebanese Embassy in my country, they're asking for donations to put together a kit that has things for those who need kidney dialysis and burn medication! Contact your country's Lebanese Embassy! Good luck and God Bless You!



I don't know if you can wire money to a taxi, they're not that eqquiped over there. Go to http://www.relieflebanon.org/ you can donate thru them!

Why? Did you put them there? Were you the one that ignored the signals of the upcoming war? Arent those people adults that made their personal decisions to live there?
