I am replacing the hub assembly, and the one of the three bolts holding the hub assembly in place is stripped. I have already spent more than I wanted on parts, any inexpensive suggestions?

Sometimes you just have to drill off the head of the Allen screw and put in a new one.

You can try using an drill with a bit that is just larger than the Allen wrench size, and set the drill to run in reverse. The bit may grab enough to back out the Allen screw.

Other than that. Use an EZ out bit or:

Drill the Allen head out and replace it.

For this problem you need two tools. A drill with a bit that can fit inside the hole of the allan screw and another tool called an Easy Out. First you need to drill out the head of the screw to allow the easy out to be inserted. The threads on the easy out are left handed so it is turned into the hole that you drilled in a counter clockwise direction. When the easy out is tight in the hole keep turning it and it will cause the bolt to unscrew. Use some WD 40 or penetrating oil to make it easier to get the bolt turning.
If the head of the bolt is sticking out where you can get a grip on it a pair of vice grips can sometimes be clamped on to the outside of the bolt allowing you to unscrew it. Again WD 40 or penetrating oil will make it easier to get it going.

The torx bit sounds good , I would see if you can smack the head of the allen bolt with a hammer at a 90 degree angle. It may flatten the head just a little and it will shock the threads to help break it lose. See if you can get some vise grips on the head for a little extra boost when you use the torx bit.

Maybe an oversized torex driver to get it out. The multiple points on the head of one of these drivers may catch on the stripped bolt and allow you to loosen it.
