Sounds alot like a yeast infection... Menstral cycles, birth control or simply getting a cold or sore throat can cause your body's natural yeast to react.
You should see your doctor if you've never been diagnosed with a yeast infection before. If you have been, try monostat. I find using the full 7 day treatment works on a really bad infection instead of the 1 or 3 days treatments. Use the entire product.. Just cause your symptoms disappear after 3 or 4 days, doesn't mean its gone. You should also refrain from sex during the treatment. If you start your period during treatment, continue the treatment, but don't use tampons.
Most importantly, see your doctor and get his/her advice.

It sounds like you are having a problem with Yeast infections. It's normal for the PH of the vagina to change slightly before you get your period, and ESPECIALLY when you're on the pill, it can cause Yeast infections. First of all, DON"T SCRATCH - this makes it worse.
You should eat a plain yogurt with active cultures everyday. It's good that you changed your pill. I was on Ortho and I had a MAJOR yeast problem that lasted for almost a year! In fact, the pill threw off my whole body's system for a long time!! It's the amount of hormone in the pill that affects your PH down there.
Talk to your doctor about PREVENTING yeast, rather than just treating it. Daily yogurt (or taking ACIDOPHOLUS - it's in the vitamin section) really helps. It's the pill that's probably doing this to you - but you need Birth Control! Eating the right foods can solve your problem: less sugar, less bread (anything that contains yeast), and YOGURT!!!
Good luck, you can beat this!

You may have symptoms of hormonal imbalances' reaction. I've not had it personally but i suggest you should consult a gynaecologist for further explanation. Symptoms that you described may be some form of allergy reaction, perhaps to heat or hormonal imbalances that is regulating in your body while you're about to have your period. Women's bodies tend to change a little while menstruating, the whole culprit is the fluctuating of both progesterone and estrogen. Do you wash your underwear correctly? Do you have any abnormal staining while having these rashes? Do you have any foul smelling discharge while having the irritation? If your answer is yes to almost, i suggest you visit your gynae for further checkups. Irritated vagina is not common, but you were tested negative for STD. Try observing the rashes, how they look like and the duration you have them. Do they dissapear after your period? The doctor may need to investigate your inner vagina wall and have an internal examination, which is called the pap-smear. It may be slightly uncomfortable but what lies in beneath can be checked thoroughly. Try to maintain a good personal hygiene all the time, especially during menstruation. Wash your bottom regularly with suitable soap with suitable pH (5.5 is good) and check for probable sanitary towel allergy. Who knows, you may be allergic to your underwear cloth. It may get worse during menstruation peak. Hope this helps. Go see a doctor soon.

i'm on ortho trycyclin too. i get a yeast infection every month 2 days after my period. its annoying as hell. i've asked the doctor about it, but my doctor sucks and told me to get monostat. she's also the same doctor that when i told her my migrains were getting more frequent to just take 1000mgs of motrin. but i would tell your dr, and i would make an appointment to go in while you're having one of these issues and have the test done then, they can make sure its a yeast infection right there and then, or if its not they can hopfully figure out what else is it. if you do go, dont use any monostat because it will kill everything and not get a good test (made that mistake, did monostate 2 days before then when it still wasnt clearing up went to the drs and she was mad at me!! i hate my dr)

I got diagnosed with the herpes simplex virus (type 2) about 5 yrs ago, while I was still in college and had a mindless one-night stand. I realize loads of young ladies will declare this, but I swear I had certainly not done that sort of thing before. I just made a mistake that one time and all of a sudden I felt like I was going to have to live with the implications for my entire life. The worst part was feeling I could never date guys again. In the end, who wants to go out with a girl that has sores around her you-know-what? But since a friend shared this video https://tr.im/10vkc everything got better.
Not only was I able to eliminate all remnants of the hsv from my body in less than 3 weeks, but I was also able to begin dating once more. I even met the guy of my dreams and I'm so lucky to write that just last week, in front of everyone in a crowded restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!! This method gave me back the chance to be happy and experience real love. Now I want to enable you too by sharing this with the whole World.

The only thing I can think of is maybe it gets like that because your body chemistry changes right before you start your period. I would definetly demand some answers from your doctor.

it could be a yeast infection or reaction to the birth control.
