"We do not torture." George Bush, 2004

At the beginning of the 2000 campaign, John McCain won the New Hampshire primary and Bush needed to regain momentum, so he flew to South Carolina to give a speech at Bob Jones University, where the clapping and applause were used in his television ads there. Bob Jones University is a bigotted little private bible college which still forbids such repugnant policies as inter-racial dating -- this group SAVED Bush's campaign --

Well, if by "equal" you mean equally poor and disenfranchised then yes. This administration's primary agenda is to loot the middle-class, thus reducing them to rough equality with the underclass, and to exploit that desperate underclass as ruthlessly as possible.

An aside: by not just denying the obvious trend toward global warming but by actually doing everything they can to make it accelerate, they may unintentionally allow most of the planet to become almost uninhabitable, which would ironically condemn even the super-wealthy to the same inescapable miserable living conditions and potential extinction the rest of us will inevitably face.

Some will be more equal than others.
