depends on the company. traditionally it is 40 hours, but some companies give you an hour for lunch, which may or may not be counted against you. so typically, the 40 hour work week is 9 to 5 every day with a lunch break.

It depends on your company's policy. Look in the handbook, it will usually say what full-time is and what benefits are available.
40 is the norm, but federal and state-wide anywhere from 32-40 is considered full-time.

General rule of thumb has been 40 hours a week is fulltime, but it could differ by the company as well.

When I worked in payroll for a previous company, employees were considered full time at 37.5-40 hours (this was a rather large nursing home company...over 50,000 employees nationwide).

most companies 40 hours. but some big corporation 5 hours are included in lunch!

It depends on the company but mostly if you work 36 hours or more they have to give you full-time benefits.
