Parents gave me the ole 1980 something Chevy citation, baby blue--150,000 miles. When it'd shift into second it'd make this loud noise, jerk and sling every ones head back-- lasted about 6 months before the transmission literally fell out of the car.

The first car I bought was an 1981 datsun 240 hatch back...It was awesome...couldn't hold the clutch in at the light because it'd drop to the floor board. Then you'd have to reach down and hand pump it to get it working again.

Toyota Tercel - 1987 model. Loved that car - it even had a rear windshield wiper. Ran it into the ground - it died on the highway one day and couldn't be rescued "one more time" after all the previous rescues, emergency fixes, etcetera.

A little red Geo. Now I drive a '90 Mazda 323 named Bianca. Just like "the little engine that could", they never give up.
