I don't know what you've been reading, but it's NOT accurate. Yes, some people are born gay, but the rest are born straight. If you have no attraction towards your sex, I think it's safe to say you're straight.

Being born gay is NOT a choice any more than being born straight is a choice. You either are or you're not.

The internet tends to be filled with various untrue, and often pretty ridiculous, theories. It is really important to take everything you read with a grain of salt rather than taking it as solid truth.
Most likely, if you don't feel attraction towards members of the same sex as you, you are not gay. Questions of sexual orientation do arise at various points in life, especially during adolescence, and it's important to explore (not necessary physically, often internally), what these feelings mean to you, and how they fit into who you are as a person.
Most likely though, if you are not experiencing any questionable feelings you're probably not gay. And also, I'm unsure why you're scared of being gay. There's nothing wrong with it...it's a healthy, natural way to be for a large percentage of the population.

I'll bet that what you read is that we are all born bi-sexual. This notion was first advanced by Sigmund Freud and a few other early medical doctors who became psychoanalysts. Their reasoning is that both sexes have both male and female hormones.

However, as a male baby develops toward adolescence, testosterone (male hormone) becomes dominant, and much more of it is secreted by the pituitary gland, in conjunction with other changes that bring about secondary sexual characteristics, like hair on the chest.

As female babies develop, their systems produce proportionately far more estrogen. This also produces secondary sexual characteristics: breasts, widened hips, and so forth.

If we are born bi-sexual, by the time it really matters, we've undergone sexual assignment and established our sexual identity.

When you read something like this, analyze it carefully. And, if it sounds weird, check the author's references.

Who takes care of the baby while you're doing all of the self-indulgent things that you've listed?

Unless you're fairly well off financially, you can't have that kind of life.

And, if you are wealthy, then you're setting a very bad example for other young women. The recipe for poverty in American society is to be an unwed mother, especially a teenaged mother.

While you're having a good time in college, you might want to take a women's study class and ask your professor about something called "the feminization of poverty."

Also, as long as you don't seem to be burdened with child care, you might want to take a course in child development.

And, for God's sake, don't ever take that baby on the motorcycle with you. Having one quadraplegic in a family is a tragedy; having two is absolute disaster.

If you haven't figured it out by now, I'll tell you straight out: I have a very low opinion of women like you. Of course, this puts me in juxtaposition with airheads who almost envy you. But, that's where I want to be.

we are all animals. there is no shame in feeling, or being gay. if you are you must be true to yourself, if you are not you must be true to yourself. leave the stress and all the worry to those who can not be true to themselves and choose to pass judgment. do what you need to do , but please think before you do anything that may hurt anybody cause remember how punishment solves nothing but only creates more confusion.

Sounds like you are stressing over nothing. If you are not attracted to members of your own sex I wouldn't worry about it. Relax already, worry changes nothing.
