This movie was absolutly insane it was utterly the most graphic movie i have ever seen they didn't move the camera when someone is getting stabbed in their eye with a mineing axe. It was a very good movie but it was to graphic for some, I couldnt handel all of the parts of it I still close my eyes. so if yyou plan on watching this movie cuddle up with a pillow and a neighbor and be prepared to scream!!!

As a horror enthusiast I have to say I loved it, surprisingly. Horror movies these days sucked, but this movie had it all.
It's actually a remake of a 70s movie. The original was horrible! Weird eh, the remake being better? But the good news is that the guy that did the original is back (Wes Craven), and he learned how to change it for the better.
This flick has it all, gore, an actual plot, hardcore revenge, and you actually care about the characters who die. Not just stupid blondes in the woods having sex.
One of the best horror movies in the past 5 years hands down. Check it out!

I saw the original years ago and it was a really good movie..Im sure the remake is just more gore!...If you want to rent it, rent the original by Wes Craven

I watched it last weekend and it was excellent as far as gory horror movies go....Not recommended for children though. If you like the Rob Zombie movies...you will love" the hills have eyes"

Well when i first saw this film i had to feel sorry for the mutated people as they were like that because of something out of their control...Then i saw the big headed guy who couldnt move in the living room at the town and he started saying "BOOM BOOM"... Well after that i wanted to smash the crap outta the freaks and nuke em again...

Movie had lots of blood and gore...but definitely wasn't scary. Story line was pretty weak and acting wasn't that great. If you are just looking for a bloody movie, then it's fine. If you are looking for a scary movie...I'd pass.

It was pretty good. Lots and lots of blood! If you like creepy movies this is a good rent.

Stupid movie ! Wasn't very scary at all ! It reminded me of a low budget movie. Don't rent it ! It's a waste of time !

both the re make and original are entertaining. I think the ending of the re make is perhaps superior. If you like the re make try the directors earlier film Switchblade Romance - nasty.
