If you haven't already done so, you'll need to run the network wizard on the host pc first (under network connections in control panel), and when prompted to turn on file & printer sharing, select yes, or choose to turn it on...be sure your printer is already hooked up and functioning properly on your host pc before you run the wizard. Next, from your laptop, go to control panel, printers, and add the printer from there. It should work. Good luck.

Unplug the printer for 20 minutes to reset the equipment, and run a printer cleansing cycle, this now and returned triggers the cartridges to paintings, it quite is not user-friendly to tell what else might desire to be the issue without the style of the printer, yet i've got faith you're able to desire a clean printhead, use the printer finder on the hyperlink decrease than to make certain if printheads on your particular printer are offered as consumables,

check if the printer is connected to the laptop. Then go to control panel and click for printers. If its not there, then go to hardware and check if its registering there. If its not there, open printers and faxes and click install printer. It will automatically search for the printer connected to the laptop. And check if the printer is connected to the right port. okay?
