american eagle jeans are probably the best quality i have ever seen. i love them. yes, they are prewashed and they might shrink a tiny bit, but like the first poster said, nothing drastic =)

It all depends on the fabric content & how you care for them. I wash my jeans inside-out with cold water, line dry them, and throw them in the dryer on a no-heat cycle for a few minutes with a damp T-shirt...this helps them keep their length and sometimes relaxes them in the hip area. Some brands relax more than others, depending on fabric content. When buying jeans, if you buy a size that is a bit tough to button but you don't have to lie down to put on, they'll usually be the perfect size after a wash & wear.

Yes, their jeans are pre-washed. They usually will shrink still, but not very much.

i think so but then again when you throw em' in the dryer they shrink up like a shrinkydink

they are most likely pre-washed/pre-shrunk, but even after you wash and dry they, will will be slightly tighter, nothing drastic tho.
