The essence of Islam can be summarized by the statement, "There is only one god and Muhammed is his prophet." Otherwise, Islam continues, albeit with minimal changes, the primitive belief systems of Judaism and Christianity, specifically the irrational belief in a supernatural agency i.e. a god.

A religion that has benefited humans in many ways for centuries. Like all religions, has been used by power seekers to persuade people to do some horrible things. If you look at the religion as an element of culture it is really quite beautiful.

Islam is a religion no matter how you look at it. It is a "religion for everyone, even if you're black or white, yellow or brown". Actually that line is from a song we sung is school when we were aout 5 - 12 years old.

It's a religion that, in some areas, has failed to evolve and develop. Many of its adherents are stuck in a medieval frame of mind. There's nothing wrong with Islam per se; just the primitive, retributive version of it that so many still cling to.

Islam is theologically wrong in my view because Muslims do not recognize Jesus as the Son of God/Messiah.

It appears to be a religion of hate for Israel and Christians. I checked out the Koran last year and was quite surprised how much hate for these two groups was in there..sheesh. (over and over and over.....it tells of killing them....it's crazy!) If I hear of a Muslim who says that he is not radical and does not hate...I no longer believe him or her. He may not want to blow himself up, but he still hates Jews and Christians if he is a muslim and wants them dead!
