This would be used in Edition 2 of my dictionary fo prefixes, suffixes, and stems.

I already have over 860 'particles', and the main ones of interest are the stems.

-e- or -ex- (out of)
-de- (out of or down from)
-a- or -ab- (out of, from)
-ad- (to, toward)
there are just a few from Latin. keep in mind, there are thousands of words that derive from Latin in the English language. If you want all root words to everything, it will take a very long time to compile them, so you might as well consult a dictionary that has already done that. They haven't changed.

retro- (backwards).
There are loads of others (obviously), and if you look in a normal dictionary at words with common stems, you may find a meaning for them.

credulus and fideles spring to mind from latin.
