What could you buy someone for their birthday that you don't know very well but has been helpful recently?

I just joined a gym and the lady who works there has been very helpful and encouraging. Her birthday is in August.

Ask someone that her without knowing you what you trying to do.She want her favorite color is, what she like to eat. Nothing else, get a gift certificate at walgreens, walmart, etc, Most women I know like to shop. That way she buy want she want.
