Find a teacher that can make chemistry easier for you to understand. If you are in grade school, you might call a teacher from the local community college to see if you could sit in on some classes.

Understanding chemistry generally involves understanding the basic concepts that are being taught. Once you have a handle on the basic concept, it is fairly simple. Try really hard to figure out what the basic concept of the lesson is, the rest will be easy.

1. Do your homework. You will not only not have a 0(when it comes to adverageing anything is better than a 0) in that assignment but you will also learn more and you will be able to do better on tests.
2. Make studying fun. Write a song about the table of elements or make up a rhyme to remember some properties of chemicals.
3. Ask the teacher for help. Asking for help when you need it is not a sign of weakness but a sign of strength.
4. Read about cool books about chemistry. You can probably find some untextbooky, fascinating fun ones at the library.
