What do you mean should it be allowed it is allowed. But lets get down to the real issue, okay so some people are for it and some are against it so you will get many different answers. While I myself am personally against it, I do not feel that I or any other person has the right to stop others from doing it. We talk about being a free country, but people want to make laws about stopping people from doing something that is a personal choice. We may not like it, but if we start making laws like this then where does it stop? For those religious people please leave religion out of this, as this is a legal matter. Not everyone is Christian or Jewish or religious at all, so we can not pass laws based on that as it goes against the constitution. it is time that this country woke up, we have more important issues facing us then abortion. This country is lower on the literacy list then most third world countries that don't even have books. We have people that cant afford to pay hospital bills cause we charge more for treatment then it cost to buy a new car. We have kids having kids, then killing other kids. So tell me what is more important these things or a law that is not going to be changed no matter how much you cry about it?

It is currently law, and should continue to be so. With all of the abused children running around, that little girl in New York a few months back, kids being kept in dog kennels, and what have you. These people should have simply had an abortion, because they could not handle the responsibility of the child and responded with violence and degradation. Yes adoption has always been around, yet play the percentages, not too many kids are being adopted compared to the ones that are abused. Why give up your meal ticket(welfare) or your punching bag(christians/republicans). Angelina Jolie could have adopted from right here in America, and yes, foreign children have it just as bad if not worse, lets take care of our own first. If you can't handle the child, get the abortion.

Abortion is the right of the person having it and not a matter of church, government, or local law. If a person feels they cannot care for a child or have a child without problems the child is better off not being born into a situation where they are not wanted. I don't see any of the anti abortion people stepping forward to care for any of the children born to people who do not want them!

Abortion is a Gift from God and will never be outlawed in His world. Man has tired to go against God's will in the past and has failed miserably. Each time abortion is outlawed, God gives a new way around the law. And that will always be the case. You cannot stop what God himself condones. Will the pro life, anti Christ movement make abortion illeagle in the United States. The Bible says that the anti christ will have sufficient followers to acheive the devil's goals. So it is possible. But God has given us enough tools in the form of pills and other methods that the devil will never win. Abortion is not about death or killing it is about God and the Anti Christ.
People are defined by the God they choose to follow. I follow the God of the bible and his Pro Choice views. My God invented abortion because he knows that sometimes it is not right for a child to be born. MY God knows when it is wrong and right. MY God does not kill babies or fetuses. MY God takes the soul of the fetus and protects it from harm. MY God does not fear the actions of men or the effect of their actions. MY God has the power to correct mistakes made by men.
The pro life god is a weak god. Their god allows the murder of innocent children and the killing of doctors and the bombing of hospitals. Such a god should not be followed. Do you choose my all powerful, all loving God or do you choose the hate filled murdering god of the pro life movement? Who will you follow? Who will you believe?

No, but it always will be. I know and you know it's murder. What I don't understand is how adament the librals are on the media saying how awful it is that so many peaple are getting killed in wars, when their have been way more deaths combined by our own peaple- killing their own babies. My mother got an abortion before I was born back about 29 or 30 years ago. That could have been me. SHe said they were not stable in their finances, and they were not married, but they had me in wedlock just about a year and a half later. She says it haunts her to this day.

Loaded question, heh.
I do not believe that I should be able to make that determination for others. However, I do believe that if a person chooses to abort, that they should be sterilized (perhaps not the first time, but the second time they seek one?) to ensure that it doesn't become a form of birth control.
Adoption is the better alternative, imho.

My overall opinion is that it should be an individual's choice, especially in circumstances of rape/abuse. What frustrates me is the time and money invested in anti-abortion when there are far more children dying from hunger, lack of medicine, and disease in other parts of the world, than are being aborted in the U.S. I think every individual should spend their resources saving the children in the world who have parents that want their children to live, before we try to force parents to birth children they don't want.

Abortion shouldn't be allowed anywhere. If you didn't want a kid you should have protected yourself more. And by the word "you" i'm not meaning the person who asked the question. I mean it generaly.
