Big Ron was a clown and always has been ,but he cracks me up with all the gaffes he makes .So i for one would love him back on the box spouting the gospel according to RON

He's very funny, just not on purpose!
FAO jennycamuk above, he said Ron Atkinson, not Rowan Atkinson. Also, how anyone could think Mr Bean was funny but not Blackadder i will never know (apart from the first blackadder series!)

It's a tough one. He is undoubtedly racist, so I suppose we have to ask ourselves if we believe there is such a thing as a 'harmless' racist who has outmoded attitudes but doesn't actually spread hatred. Ron could be argued to fall into that category but I'm not sure he deserves a second chance.

well, im half and half with this one, couldnt stand black adder he was in, drove me mad as my husband loves it,he wa squite funny in mr bean though, but tobe honest hes been away a while and has no offence any body really missed him cos i can honestly say i havent even noticed hes not been on lol.
