For me, I know that I am just dreaming, so I go along with it "for the ride," so to speak. It's a great dream, but it only happens rarely - unfortunately. Do others have the same kind of dream?

i've dreams about flying quite a bit. it's kind of cool. for me, it's a feeling of pure freedom. in my dreams, sometimes i'm flying over a huge body of water. i can't see where the water begins or ends. it's sort've scary at first. (suppose i fall? i can't swim!!) but after awhile, i just relax myself and as you said, "...go along for the ride...". i've also had dreams where i'm flying too close to the ground. no matter how hard i try, i can't fly any higher. i become very frustrated because the harder i try to fly higher, the lower and slower i go!! now what's that all about?!

I love flying dreams. If they happen so infrequently, maybe try sleeping in a hammock. Or go skydiving--you'll probably dream about flying (and falling) a lot more!

Personally, most of my dreams involve me saving the world while living in a cardboard box....and flying. I have no idea what that means, or if there is any meaning to it, but I agree with you: just go along for the ride and enjoy it :)

Yep...and it's a lot of fun, too. It's cool to lie asleep at night and dream about defying gravity and the laws of nature.

I dreamt that there was a sex offender in the condo complex where I live and in order to get away from him, I actually jumped up and flew in the air away from him. Weird dream, though.

Haha, I have! And in different styles each time I had them. I flew using breast-stroke, I flew like Superman, I can leapt onto buildings, I can fight like those in Matrix!
