O.A.R., Jack Johnson, Rusted Root, all have some great songs. You mentioned faster pace, i know its not comparable to D Matthews but early 311 has more of a beat that gets your head bobbing->Music, Grassroots are a couple of albums i suggest.

Hi there,
Im a HUGE DMB fan. But really enjoy chili peppers, and think you might check out Incubus. They are a bit heavier in the rock department, but still- really good. Not a new band, but really good too are U2. Its hard to put them on a level with anyone else to compare to. Here are a couple other bands: cold play, jack johnson.
