As soon as George Bush and his band of goons decide there is no more profit to be made or maybe as soon as we elect someone with the sense to know that it is a lost cause and we are just wasting American lives for no good reason. Iraq is in a civil war and they are killing each other at a rate of 50 or more a day, we don't seem to make any difference in that and we are losing 1 or 2 of our solders every day in the process. Lets get out and let them choose the kind of government that they want because a puppet government created by us will never be accepted by the Iraqi people.

I don't know when and I didn't agree with going there in the first place. But I do agree with not setting a time line for it. KNow that we are there, agree with it or not, we have to stay until we finish what we started and the new government can stand alone and the Iraqie military can handle anything that get thrown at them. If we leave now we will end up in the same boat as when we started but with a new crazy leader. It is not going to matter what pres, or which party is in office, we don't have a choise now.

When the Iraqi government can run the country and the Iraqi miltary can protect the country on their own. Right now they are both too unstable to do either.
I did not read a single answer on here that made one bit of sense, hope mine does! You're an anti-American idiot if you really think it has anything to do with oil!!!
P.S. Support Our Troops!!!!!!!

We will get out of Iraq when Iraqi leaders ask us to go. With what is going on right now in the middle east, I think it is to our advantage to leave our troops where they are for now.

Depending on how steadfast the US is to its current foreign policy. We have interests in oil and Israel. If those remain prime policies, 25-100 years. That estimate is actually quoted by several high ranking US Officers.

Never. The US will always be hoovering over there somewhere disguised as "aide" or "business" or "peace force". They'll invent new ways to encroach on them or that region.

never...I honestly think they are going to be there for like 50 years..no joke. I don't think they will ever get out because before you know it...there will be another war (ie Isreal and Lebanon) and we will have to stay there so we can help out with that one...wait, watch, you'll see.....
