If the egg is from the chicken then why doesn't a egg taste like chicken?

I don't know who lied to that girl and told her the egg came first. That doesn't even make any sense. If the purpose of the chicken is incubate the egg until it's ready to hatch, then the answer is obvious: the chicken came first. And if you believe in God's creation of the Earth, then you would know for a fact that the chicken came first because He created all the animals and designed them to reproduce on their own from that day on.

Which came first - the chicken or the egg? "The chicken" came first - in the sentence of the question. If the question is phrased differently, the answer is different.

Well when Noah called for all the animals to come onto the Ark i'm sure the chicken came first since the egg didn't exist.

God created animals and people so the chicken would have to come first because God created it and then He gave the chicken the ability to reproduce so then the egg came after the chicken.

Has to be egg. When the first chicken evolved, he began as an egg. His parents were not chickens but a slightly less evolved bird.
