I remember that age with my girls. Zoo is great and National parks walking trails or horse back riding. The most is--- you have make up and dresses and high heel shoes and a tee set. Spend a day letting her know what you do. Play nurse and take of people or secretary and answer phones and file papers ( have a friend call and play pertend with you). Can bake cookies or cake or something together. My girls loved have slumber partys. So you can do that and make pretend tents out of blanket and rent movies and eat popcorn or what ever. My girls are 16 and 18 and yes they grow up fast. Enjoy all the years you have with her and the rest of your kids and always be involved. It really goes fast.... Have lots of fun can take a balloon and papermershay it and draw faces and write a nice message on it and let it go. Just let her know the value of money now and that you can 't do alot cause it cost alot to do stuff. But spending time together doing little things is something she can always look back on and say -- ya,,, my mom and I did that together....... God Bless

Maybe you could plan a picnic. Have her pick out her favourite foods, have her pack the lunch, then spend the day at the park. If you have a park with a playground that is always a bonus. Swing on the swings, slide down the slide, be a kid again. You could also plan to make a scrap book of the day, so take a disposable camera along. This way you have two days planned out.

Take her to some of the historical sites over there that she hasn't been to yet. I'm sure if you looked in the internet, you could find some that are free to get into. Take your camera for pics of you and her together. I'm sure that will mean more than all the toys you can buy her at the gift shop.

Another thing you could do is take her on a picnic in the park. Spend the day together blowing bubbles, playing in the sand, basically let yourself act like a child.

get a family travel card from any train station there under £10.00 and a lot of stations do vouchers for free child enery to differnt places in london the tickets last all day and can be used on the bues in london as well, if none of the vouchers are what you have in mind give her an underground map and let her pick where in london she would like to go.
i think family travel cards are the best thing since sliced bread last all day go any where in london (zone 1-6) including the bues. what more can you ask for?

Parents that live in good U.S., usually go to McDonald's with their kids. They rent movies and stay at home. Or check out the park and what activiites they may offer. Maybe do 1 special thing each week, but keep it simple. The fact you want to spend time with your child speaks volumes already. Hopefully this helped some.

take her camping out in the wilderness for 5 days... I am doing that with my nephue, So far it is going to cost about $150 USD... That inclueds gas, food, fuel, etc... I mean real camping, with a tent and you have to hike 40 miles and camp every 8 or so.

(ofcoarse i already own a bunch of back packs and a stove... But even lot tenting can be fun... especialy for little kids)

First make a list of were you can take here. Then eliminate some of the expensive places(naot all.)if there are a lot to deside from then do sll of them.It doesn't mean you have to sppend. You can easily have a good time at the park or some place.Bring a picnic.Oh do you know a Darren Haley?Contact me at bookwormfreak12@hotmail.com or aundreaoconnor if you do.Good luck.

have a picnic in a park, bring some games to play, make it an all day event. look in the paper, there are always free things going on in a city to do. take the bus somewhere, to a place you have never been to, make it an adventure. Kids likes to do things like that.

Have fun!

original bubble seems to have a suggestion worth checking out mate. but bear in mind children normally do not understand the value of money/worth. what they remember is the experience. like some of the suggestions above, picnics, minitours, etc. but then wow her with things that interest her, like a fun house, musuem, castle, or some historic site visit. but research those first before u go, and proceed with the "did you know that...." statements. perhaps her curiosity may be piqued...
all else fails, play barnie over and over
