I Personally like Becham. Can bent it in any angle.
Do U Think that all the critics, controversies, hating is deserved to Becks?
Zidane is the best, no comparision. Therefore, not in the list.

You are right zidane is best midfielder although he is old. But from the list of players absolutely beckham is the best and he is not the man to be hated or critised. remember he has done a lot to take england to quaterfinals scoring superb goal against equador and setting the goals to crouch and gammara(OG).

i vote pirlo.
he has highest energy levels above all other guys that u listed.
Becks, Zizou r slow, old, n can barely last a match! (to b honest..)
Figo is still as skilled as before, only the pace he's lacking. Gerrard sometimes doing senseless stuffs with the ball, sometimes he's brilliant, of course. Carlos isn't the same player 2 seasons ago. He reacts much slower n isn't as fast as before. Vicente not even a regular in Spain squard. Becks is only gd with his freekicks. n i think i can run faster then zidane!

Beckham takes too much bashing from critics, but Steven Gerrard is the best player on your list. He does it all, score, pass, tackle and defend. he should be the next captain for England.

Beckham gets bashed too much for being a limited player, but he was responsible for most of England's goals at the World Cup, and get the most out of his physical abilities, which is all you can ask of an athlete. He is a great passer and the best at free kicks and was a good captain for England. He never gave less than a full effort.

Ronaldinho is by far the best midfielder in the world. He is better than Zidane. There is not another player in the world that is as skillful and creative as he is. I do not know how you did not have him on the list.

i dont agree that zidane is the best. yes, hes definitely good...but certainly not the best.

of the players you mentioned, i think figo is the best. i love portugal but without figo, they seem a little hopeless on the field...figo comes up with the plays and really knows how to push his team.

ITS TRUE BECKHAM CAN BEND AT ANY ANGLE BUT THAT ONLY DOESN'T MATTER IN A GAME.........
TO SUM IT UP "ANDREA PIRLO" IS THE MOST COMPLETE MID-FIELDER ALONG WITH "KAKA" AND "DECO" TO FIGHT FOR THE PLACE LEFT BY ZIDANE..ALSO "JUAN ROMAN RIQUELME" IS ONE SUCH GUY.......
ANY ONE OF THEM CAN BECOME THE BEST......

it's beckham and pirlo from your list. i've got my own choices though and they're mostly unheralded but they proved to be even bigger assets to their teams that the so called star players:

patrick vieira (france)
torsten frings (germany)
michael essien (ghana)
frank ribery (france)
joe cole (eng)
