Who among you still clings to the hopes that it can't happen here? If so, is that the reason that some of you still cling to the idea that the Bush Administration has altruistic motives in Iraq and idealist motives for funding the Israeli war machine? How about the issues of Iran and Korea? Civil rights for homosexuals?
Is that why so many of you will not accept the possibility of complicity on the 9/11 attack? How about the multi-million dollar profit made by Halliburton (having close ties with the White House) in Iraq?

Yes, Dorie it could happen here. Thanks for your logic. When I try to present facts and logic, the sheep type that I should have my tongue cut out. This is the complacent attitude of lunacy. Why does it seem that so many can't see the debauchery.

For starters, Halliburton is one of about THREE companies that could handle a job that size. And you normally choose to work with those you know, right? (You would rather hire a painter to paint your house that you know, than some random guy I would think.)

Homosexuals have all the rights we do. (Except marriage.) Marriage is a religious ceremony that the government has no say on, or at least shouldnt. But I dont know of any religion advocates gay marriage. I could be wrong....

As far as complicity in the 9-11 attacks, I STILL think you are reaching there.

Try saynig "gay",not "homosexuals".This isnt the 1950s.

And yet,the Republican pipe dream that Bush has altuistic motives in Iraq is dangerously delusional at this time.

Bush is a stubborn, cynical, boob of a prez with some stupid policies and beliefs, but I cannot bring myself to believe that he or his crowd had anything to do with the occurrences of 9/11. That, said, it is obvious they have done everything in thier power since to capitalize on that tragedy.

If you mean that we do not think that an attack can happen here, I do. I mean, we have saw it in the past (9-11) and I do believe that we will see it here again in the near future.

Conspiracy theories are the food of the desperate and unthinking.

Each time you trot this sort of thing out you reinforce the arguaments of your opponents.
