I think we all try to keep the debates intellectual without attacking the person on the other end. There will always be radicals on both sides who will cause level headed people to stoop to their level - I know I am guilty. This will definitely rub some libs the wrong way but I see character attacks as a part of the liberal playbook. If you discredit a liberals argument then they are more likely to attack you because they have no more facts or circumstances to validate their arguments. Before the libs go off the deep end - it happens with Conservatives too.
