~i hook up the slip-n-slide for the kids & put water in the little plastic pool & sit in the shade in a lawn chair with a glass of ice water & watch them. they usually get me with the hose before their finished!!!~

Wel I live in Chicago and we had a heat wave I just drank plenty of water stayed in an air conditioned room and wore thin clothing. Well I dont have that problem now we're having a severe thunderstorm problem Good Luck!!

A/C where available, but I try to stay indoors, drink lots of cool (but not too cold) water, and have fans going all the time.
Fortunately, it hasn't been too humid around here lately.

stay inside and have the AC on.
drink lots of water and wear light clothing...shorts & a t-shirt and keep my hair up in ponytail, away from my neck.

I've heard that holding an ice cube in your palm until you can't stand it anymore really helps. I tried it and it seemed to.
