Changing regular sunglasses to prescription?

I bought a pair of sunglasses at a store and I was wondering whether I could take them to a place (such as lenscrafters) and get them to put prescription lenses in them...

Would it matter if they are cheap sunglasses?

it would probably work but i wouldnt do it with cheap sunglasses, you dont want your prescription glasses to break

You should call Lenscrafters to see if they can do it. It has tobe a certain type on lens.
