I am going to play snare in a junior senior high school Marching band and I'm going to Band Camp Friday. I just wanna know if it's fun.

Not to scare you, but we didn't call our band camp Hell Week for nothing. Ours was always one of the last (and hottest) in August, and went from 8am to 5pm, all outside. We'd get only 4 or less 5min water breaks, and then 1/2 hour for lunch. It was a lot of basics, and drilling. Plus our director was the biggest psyco to ever walk the face of the earth. Having said this, there's nothing like it. You look back, and you know you accomplished something...it's a great feeling, and you and your friends will have stories to last a lifetime from it. ENJOY!!

My high school band camp was just a day camp at the school. But my best friends were kids I met in the band, so while it was alot of hard work, I was always with the people that made me laugh and it was great to see them all day.

High school band camp will seem like a lot of work while you're there...
Until you get to college band, then you'll know what REAL band camp is. ;)
