As I'm not 100% what you are talking about (unclear questioning) I can only offer some generic advise.
Delete temp files and cookies. Remove previous searches from registry (Start -> Run -> Regedit -> Highlight My Computer -> F3 -> Type in name you are having problem with -> Find Now)

Use the arrow keys to highlight the search term and press the delete key. If that doesn't work hold down the shift key while pressing delete.

If you are using IE, got to Tools>Internet Options>Content>Auto Complete and click Clear Forms. That should clear everything.
