I have been on cruises to Alaska, Hawaii and the Caribbean. I'm just planning another one for next year - not sure where yet.

Since your question is about being TO a cruise rather than ON a cruise, I'm assuming you mean a car cruise. I go to car cruises all the time. It's great to get out my classic hot rod and participate in the cruises where other folks with the same hobby gather and enjoy the camaraderie. I really enjoy talking with spectators in the hope that I can somehow peak their interest in the hobby of car restoration. There are enough cruises in my area that I can take part in them every week from April through October.

I went on a 4 day cruise last year in the Caribbean. It was just awful. You can't be on deck without standing in someones cigarette smoke. There are screaming children and crying babies everywhere and drunkenness rules the nights. It was anything but calm and relaxing. There was also an issue with senior citizens complaining about just dang everything. I'll never do it again.

Yes and im in my twenties. Most of the people on there are much older and the activities and shows are geared for older people but it was still a really good time. If you go make sure you pick one that goes to a lot of ports, or at least spends a lot of time on them because I thought that was the most fun part. That and the food is really good. I ate like a fat hog. You can eat as much as you want at the restaurants, I couldnt decide one night whether to eat the Lobster or duck so I ordered them both. I went on Norwegian. Everyone says Carnival sucks.

I went on one last summer to Northern Europe on Golden Princess, and I had a blast. It was a college graduation present from my parents for me. I got to see 6 different countries in 11 days, and each morning the view from your window is different which is really neat...you never know what to expect. (I had a balcony so it was really neat) Make sure you go to all the shows on the ship and do all the excursions you can afford. HAVE FUN!

Yeah, went to the Bahamas in November. Couldn't get to two of the beaches we were supposed to go to due to waves being too high. The boat was rocking like a bath toy and upset my stomach BAD. All in all not a bad trip, but I guess I would avoid the Bahamas in November.
