If you are a yahoo email subscriber you should be able to download the yahoo default email application. check the link http://help.yahoo.com/help/uk/mail/ext/ext-09.html
If you are one of the free users..download yahoo messenger and it should give you an option to make yahoo mail your default email application. This means everytime you click on a link to an email address it will open your web browser with yahoo mail login
if you are Mozilla user you might have to check for some other settings as well
If you are looking for yahoo beta (which also provides an email application) then wait till you are able to download yahoo beta.

Under the tools menu click on options. Under the program tab you will see an email option. Yahoo should be listed in there, click on that and that will be your default email program so everytime you click on an email link , it will open Yahoo. Hope this helps

If you have installaed Ymessange and Ytoolbar.
Then open IE window.
Tools >> IE options.
select Porgrams tab.
There in E-mail, select Yahoo!.
