I'm looking to take some courses in the legal field. Namely, private investigation and/or forensic science... Any recomendations and emails would be welcomed! Thank you and God bless.

I am currently finishing my BA in Human Resources through Baker College Online. I have done both traditional and online classes. Online is much harder. The time-lines are tight and course-load is much greater.

If you don't have a work schedule or home life that restricts you from going to traditional school I would go to the traditional school.

A couple of factors that are out there when considering an online degree program:

* Usually cost more than traditional classes. My roomate's online school was 4 times that of the near by schools.
* Most times have shorter class sessions so you need to fit more material in a shorter time frame.
* You may be required to participate in online discussions several days a week and depending on the school have times that you will be requiered to participate in class.

Don't get me wrong I am not against online schools, it is just that they are not the easy fix for the busy person. Good luck with your decision.

Depends on what kind of degree you want? Also depends on life situations. If you work full time and raise kids. The traditional 4yr degree is not possible with. Most schools do not cater to working adults. In that regards an online degree is better.

Only do it online if it is your ONLY option. Trust me, it is much easier to take the courses on a university campus than online. Online courses require much more commitment, there is less availability of help, no one will explain anything to you - you have to do it all yourself.

I tried, and it was miserable. Then I enrolled at a regular university, and things are much better.

Just make sure you know what you are getting yourself into.
