Not to bash him, but I see him be nice to customers, but overly stringent on us. He gets critical repeatedly. I understand you do what you're supposed to do, but you have to be compassionate with your subordinates as well.

It sounds like you need to switch departments if possible. Other things you can do: ban together with fellow workers and keep track of EVERY incident of bullying/abuse and then all of you should go to the human resources person and talk to them about what is going on. Keep in mind that being nice to customers and treating them differently than you treat those who work for you is, sadly, the norm.

When unnoticed, deflate his tires, fill them with Freon 12. Go to 1/2 price book store, buy books by George Hayduke "Don't get mad ! Get Even" Take superglue and insert into any lock he has--squeeze a bit in--oil stuff he's never oiled---drop metal fillings into his pc and monitor---Married fella is he? --buy some panties that would fit a 14 yr. old girl, hide them under his right front seat. Wait! You need to know how to treat 'rear ends' like him. Don't feel guilty ! He deserves it.

Look him straight in the eyes--and tell him "I will no longer be bully ed or abused by you.( or I will not be treated this way) You will talk civilly to me or I will walk away from you .I expect an apology. If you do not change your ways I will talk to your boss"
You may or may not receive repercussions. If you do change jobs.
