Just be careful not to hurt them with your nails when you shake their hand and make sure your polish is very natural! Also, be careful that you aren't playing with them or drawing attention to them in anyway and it shouldn't be a problem! Depending on what job you are going for be careful because if it is a computer oriented job they will probably look just out of curiosity to see if your nails might slow down your typing speed! Good luck!!

Yes! Cut them. You can grow them back after you get the job. Interviewers look at your overall package. What does she look like? How does she present herself? Is she qualified? Wearing long nails is a big turn off to interviewers, and coloring them too. If you're going to color them, make sure it's a light, natural color. A french manicure would do the trick. Or maybe a mice pale cream or pink. It's simple, yet classy. Let's the interviewer know that you do care about your appearance, but you don't go ove the top with loud colors and stuff. Trust me on this. I took courses in interview preparation.

It really depends on how badly you want the job. My school of thought is the following. You never get a second chance to make a first impression. From your typing, I cannot tell if you are saying they are .5 inch long or one to two inches long. Therefore, if only the first, don't worry. If one or two, you should trim and file them; definitely use a light polish, or even a french manicure. But look at it this way. If you make a great impression, and you additionally, have the qualifications and get the job, you won't need to worry. Once you settle in, you can let your nails grow back out. I know this sounds like an insane, false tactic to have to do to get a job, but unfortunately, that is one of the backslides of society in which we live. Good luck on your interview!

Do you mean 1-2 inches long past the skin of your fingers? If so, I say yes, cut them. If I were doing the interviewing, i'd wonder what kind of work you could do with nails that long. After you get hired, you can always grow them out again. You can also go to a manicurist and get those fake nails if you want long nails, but make sure they look natural.

I would probably trim them a bit. To an inch. or just wear htem with clear polish or that mild milky crean color sounds good to. something that will not put the interviewers attention on your nails. Also when talking try not to use your hands.

how long are they?
wow 1-2" thats awsome. i wish my nails grew that nicely. but... i would consider clipping them about half way. Filing them nicely, and painting them in a very friendly color. Hey look at the bright side, They'll def. grow back.
but just to be on the safe side, maybe you should.

u should cut them, if i'm the interviewer i don't want to hire a long nails worker. Why? it will make u an unproductive worker, because everytime u hv to do a job, u have to take care of your nails.believe me, u can type faster if u have short nails.

It depends on the job. If you are looking for a professional job in an office you might want to cut them.

Wow...too long I'd say. Cut them back and use neutral polish.
There should be nothing distracting about your appearance since you want them to listen to what you have to say and first impressions count the most. Good luck :)
