My son is 16 months old and I never went to the one year OBGYN checkup. I want to get on birth control but I don't want to have the exam. Should I go to a regualr doctor or my OBGYN? If I go to the OBGYN will they do the pelvic exam?

You could go to a family planning clinic and request birth control. Why don't you want a pelvic? I'm betting everyone on here is going to nag you at how important it is to get a yearly, including me!

Go to the Ob/Gyn! The pelvic is no big deal! It doesn't hurt for me.

Anyway... get the Mirena IUD if you go on birth control... was the best and easiest birth control I've ever been on! (Hurts a tad bit to get put in but only for a few seconds. No biggie. I'd do it again in a heartbeat)
