You need to know how much fuel your vehicle uses (miles per gallon)
Divide the length of the trip (1400 miles) by the number of miles you can travel per gallon. For example if you have a vehicle that gets 20 miles per gallon you would divide 1400 by 20 and find that you needed 70 gallons of fuel for that distance. Multiply the cost per gallon ($3.00) by the number of gallons (70) to find the cost (in this case $210)

We need to know approx. how many Miles per gallon you car gets. I.E if it gets 20 MPG, then divide 1400 Miles by 20 MPG and the result will be how many gallons will be used. Then multiply that by $3.00 per gal to find your total cost. In other words, 1400 divided by MPG times cost per gallon equals total cost.

Again, We need more information about your car. How many miles per gallon does it get?
So that you can do it yourself OK? Here is the math formula.
D = Distance / number of miles to be driven
M = Miles per Gallon your car gets.
C = Cost of gasoline for the trip.
G = Gasoline cost per gallon.
C = (D divided by M) times G
Hope this helps

If you get 30 mpg, take 1400 / 30, and you will use about 50 gallons, *$3 per gallon, 150 dollars.

Plan on between $600-800 for sure. That's gas and munchee's unless you get in major traffic jams. I just drove from Minnesota to California 5 weeks ago. I had my car loaded full with two cartop carriers, backseat packed, two adults and one child. The whole trip, gas..food..postcards and whatnot cost me Just over $800. Granted..in some areas I was able to find gas at $2.50 but there were also places it was up to $3.75. And my car is a gas hog lol.
More importantly make sure your car is in great condition. Thankfully I had no problems. I've got pictures of my trip on my 360 if you'd like to see them. Good luck and have a great time!

It depends on the MPG, how big your tank is, how many times you have to fill up? But as a geuss? I would say about $300.00. Give or take a $...Good Luck
