I recieved an e-mail from Yahoo! saying that I have violated the Terms Of Service (TOS) and if it happens again, they will close my account and bar me from Yahoo!. How do I find out what I have done that in their eyes, has violated the TOS!

I have not solicited/ advertise anything. I am not transmitting spam or any indecent content.

I have merely been sharing my OPINION in yahoo answers...

Would someone had to have reported me to admin for them to send me this e-mail?
Please HELP!!?

OK. I read the TOS and can't find anything that I have done to violate them. Unless someone found an answer of mine offensive.

SO many people have written FAR more offensive answers than I have to any question. So I guess they have also been reported?

If you are innocent and I believe you are, it is very irritating to be told a thing like that. -- It is more likely that someone OUT OF SPITE reported you ! I have had that happen to me although they did not threaten to close the account. I believe they offer you an opportunity to put your point across. But failing all that... would you really lose a lot if they did close your account ? Go elsewhere. What annoys me a little is that there are a few (very few fortunately) who roam Yahoo Answers to insult and annoy and I just hope that Yahoo carries proper enquiries and investigate properly before threatening to close accounts. What does annoy me is when some people put out a question without really wanting an answer but mere wanting to make insulting statements -- "questions" with a second meaning... that is LOW I saw a few two weeks ago and I just kept away from two weeks... two weeks without taking part in Yahoo answers. I even closed the account MYLSELF and left... I was level THREE and had more than 1,800 or so points. So those people should be kicked out. If I see a question suggesting an insult.. I WILL TAKE THE GUY ON... can't just overlook and then report him...

Yes, somebody reported you because of one of your answer to a question on Yahoo Answers. If I were you, I would play it safe and not answer a question with a bad answer or just don't answer anymore questions because your account might get deleted for good and you don't want that to happen do you? So, the best thing to do is play it safe.

You could email their customer service and ask. Or reread the TOS and see if you can find it yourself.
