How exactaly how did Hillary Clinton hurt America when she was First Lady? How has she benefited New Yorkers since she's been in the Senate? Please be specific. Everyone seems to be so strong in their love or hate of her but one one can tell me why - backing it up their opinion with facts. Thanks!

She was the never-ending target of the GOP's anti-Clinton machine which tried to villanize Clinton & anyone near him, no holds barred. After enough unfounded sound-bite attacks, many Americans had little choice but to either oppose her or defend her. (It was like trying to remain neutral regarding a war waging around you.)

She also was a First Lady who dared to try to affect policy rather than just do photo-ops, bake cupcakes & look pretty for foreign emissaries. How dare she. ;)

So I'm biased. I love Hillary. She became first lady when I was in high school and she was the first woman in politics I could look up to. She is ungodly smart and I think that scares people. Men are afraid and some women think politics is no place for a woman.

Her healthcare plan (when she was First Lady) was actually a great one, but its so complex most people can't comprehend it. Even R's have said it wasn't a bad plan.

She worked on the Nixon impeachment trials right out of law school. She balanced a career and motherhood. She graduated top of her class at Welsley. She was one of a few women that Yale let into their Law School.

She is a moderate (yes, please look at her voting record and not to Fox News if you don't believe me) and a very powerful women.

Well, 'hate' is such a strong word. So, I'll say my DISLIKE for her is, I suppose, of a personal nature. Just look at her. Just listen to her speeches, they are completely void of any real substance. Her slogans are ridiculous and outdated. She comes across as being ovebearing, harsh and demeaning to people. She's constantly speaking out against the "rich" people. What is that? To me, that's just ugly. Well, sorry I have no "facts" here, just my personal opinion.

Dems love her because they see her as the second coming.

Republicans hate her because they see her as a hipocritical politician who will say and do anything to get to the top - including putting her marriage (and ignoring infidelities - I guess THAT takes a Village too!) second to her political career.
