Girls and boys are equally emotional, its just that boys do not show it in the same way (tears and break downs) as girls and that is why we interpret them as being unemotional. Boys show their emotions in different ways like actions rather than feelings...moreover intimate actions like a hug and kiss do not come to their mind while expressing..they just expect the other person to feel it and realize how they are feeling...

I used to think it was girls, hands down. Then I had four sons. Guys get emotional about things too. They've just been taught to suck it up, walk it off and not show it! I think it proves that men and women aren't all that different in some respects. The world would be a better place if men could learn to express their emotions appropriately and women could learn that they don't have to express every single emotion they have immediately! *L*

I think both can be very emotional. Boys go through just as much as girls, they just don't like to show it sometimes. Girls usually show that their upset to either get attention or help.

Girls are. Guys are taught to be tough, stoic.
Guys that are too emotional are usually considered "effeminate."
Females are reasoners, thinkers and empaths. Guys are doers.
