that are reported read by a person from yahoo or do you just get a violation when its reported. some people just dont have a sense of humour i do agree one question i posted was worthy of a violation but 3 violations in 2 days one for threat of harm the other for not being a question. Did the person actually read the question. if people are going to report people should that person make sure they understand the question or is it the askers responsibility to ensure that the question is worded in such a manner that it is understood by those with limited intelligence.

If you have had 3 violations in 2 days you need to rethink the content of your questions and reflect upon the manner in which you've asked them so that any future ones will not be misconstrued.
You alone are responsible for the content of your questions...

I've never been reported (thats asking for trouble)..so I don't know how it works. But I agree, unless someone is being a blatant, arrogant so and so (see, so polite) and insulting my mother directly, by name!, then yeah, report him....but maybe that's what he wants. A lot of them are attention seekers, so let them play their games and ignore them, works a treat.

i think if u get a set number of people reporting u then the question gets withdrawn
ive tried to complain about the ones ive had withdrawn and u get no response
the most silly one i got withdrawn was 'wot wood scooby doo do'
