You know, I was lonely, I talked to my man about more time. (This is a very old relationship and I believe it was built on a deep love.) I requested his attention to the relationship, I got tired of being alone in the same room with him.
LOL, and its not like I dont have a life !! Im a busy person with work , volunteering and a great kid !
I made some friends on the internet, I had games and chat , and a "real" social life LOL,
and for a while, it made it better, I had the good I had with him, and I had folks to talk to about everything under the sun . . . .
but eventually the friendships on the net sharpened the contradictions in my relationship. It made it so much more obvious what was NOT happening in my relationship. I feel more lonely now, not understanding why strangers around the world are more interested in talking to me then the person who supposedly loves me.
And now I am trying again to build the relationship, to reach out to him , to establish what it is I want and need in this relationship. SO far, Im realizing that hes not very interested in doing that with me. SO eventually it will probably end, and that will be hard. But I know I cant continue this way, and if we let go of it all, we will be free to find others who we can build better relationships with.
SO dont "manage" your lonliness, confront the issues in your relationship, and be honest about what is his role and what YOUR role is in it all . . . and if you two cant find happiness together , then get out an go find it !!
Good luck to all of us : )

Nothing wrong with chatting. You need to found something to do.You will be tempted to chat with other men. Work my hours, go to school, and meet other people, volunteer there always people that need help and you feel good about yourself. Being lonely is one the social disease out there. Suprisely, I'm in the same situation but I'm not married. What if your husband did that to you. I don't think you will like it. You didn't say how close you in your marriage with your husband. You and him need to spend time with each other more-have a date evening just you and him.
go to the website: focusonthefamily.org or family.org click down to the left husband and wives. It got something for everybody single, marry, children or not. Get this book, I got it Every Woman's Battle by Shannon Ethridge is an excellent book.
