The females can become aggressive around 4 months old due to their hormones. Males are usually friendlier. The disposition partly depends on the breed and how the animal is cared for. The more you properly handle it the more it will be good to hold or petted. Rabbits like to be petted between the eyes on their forehead. Don't pet from behind because it scares them. Some are the kind you can hold while you watch tv. I wouldn't recommend that for most. Normally a few minutes is good.

Well, A pet rabbit WILL BITE! MY best friend had a beautiful pet rabbit and her 3 year old niece was petting it. The rabbit literally bit the end of the 3 year olds finger off. She no longer had a fingernail on that one hand because it bit it off from the first knuckle to the tip. so be very careful with a pet rabbit!

Depends on the rabbit. Some are more outgoing, some prefer to be left alone. You can get it used to being held if you handle it in a way that makes it feel secure. They will sit with you while you watch TV, but if they get bored they may dig at or chew on your clothes.

Rabbits are just like any other pet or animal...they all have their own personalities. My male rabbit was fine until I got a female rabbit and then he began to bite...then I got him neutured and he's back to his nice self again. I think as a rule, most rabbits don't like to be picked up. My rabbits like to be petted and will chase a stuffed animal if I throw it for them.

Like people rabbits are different according to each bun. I suggest that you contact your local House Rabbit Society and meet with several rabbits to see which you would like best. However, most rabbits don't like being picked up and held because they are prey animals and it feels like they are in danger when it happens.

The females can become aggressive when older if you don't have them spayed. Sounds like you want a guinea pig, although you should get two so they're not lonely when you're out (this applies to rabbits too, although the best coupling with rabbits is a neutered male with a spayed female).

I had a rabbit for 12 years, she was very agreesive and mean, but she did love to play outside with me. She would stomp and cry when i put her in her cage.

You must get a rabbit when they are a baby for them to like and want to be with you. If you want a sit-on-the-couch-with-you pet try a dog. Please shoot for a black dog because they are so common that people want a rare colored dog!! Many black dogs must be put down. :(

It depends on how it has been raised. If it has been handled a lot, then yes. I had one when I was a kid that would use a litter box and loved to sit and cuddle just like a cat.

They vary, like other animals- but are generally fairly sweet. Some of them are "one-person" animals, they love one person and don't want much to do with anybody else.
