Most British people have developed enough of their own anti-American sentiment so they don't need to be *told* by the press.

Did you note that sam has the brits as one and 1/2 the population? And, he's calling us fat? They are an island of old fat people. I just read in the newpaper yesterday,that the island has more old people than most countries and they are headed for financial disaster.

I think you'll find a society polarised in UK as it is in the US.
Half of us are well read, level headed and informed people who hate americans.
