I work in a small office with five other people. Everyone else dresses pretty casual- jeans and some kind of shirt. But I don't feel comfortable going to work in my jeans and flipflops yet but I feel weird getting all dressed up in my black pants and button-up & collared shirts. What can I wear that would be professional but casual?

wear the jeans and then add something dressy. like a blazer or a button down shirt. flipflops ruin the prof. look. ditch them and try some docks or pumps. if you have to pull your hair up try something cute instead of a regular ponytail. curls are always cute.

khakis and a button up or polo shirt or a dress shirt if you want. if you dont want to wear just flipflops, you could wear cute sandals or earth shoe flipflips. they're actually more comfortable and dressier. hope that helped.

wear a nice shirt that can still be casual, but with a pencil skirt and a nice pair of pumps. dressing nicely might set a good example to the rest of your colleagues to dress more professional.

Well if your going casual you could go with simple skirts or dress slacks like womens dockers, and a nice blouse. Then for your shoes you could wear ankle strapped heels or just regular high higheeled pumps.

try still wearing jeans, but playing up the top portion of your body. add a blazer or nice jacket to go with your jeans. add some jewelry to make it look more dressy than casual. you shouldn't have to ditch the jeans to make yourself feel dressed up for work. just improvise the top portion.
