There shouldn't be any problems. The Seer rating is for being efficient. They used to sell 10 to 12 SEER units, but last year the law changed and now you can't sell a unit smaller than 13 SEER (unless you have it in stock). Nobody makes anything smaller! Good Luck

I don't see a problem. SEER is an efficiency rating, so a 13 SEER heat pump is more efficient than a 10 SEER model. That's a very good thing, not a problem at all.
