Murlitharan is a better bowler.
Shane warne has not been put through a lot of pressure because he has support from other strike bowlers like Mcgrath, Bret lee, Jason Gilliespie, Mcgill, Bracken unlike Murli who is the only strike bowler for SL.
Murli has the ability to turn a ball huge both ways. He can also bowl trademark shane warne's ball. Whereas shane doent have that much armoury.
As a person Shane warne is in the hall of shame.
And Murli is better person too.

I think Murali is best. The only reason could be the fact that warne usallly has lesser pressure he has other good bowlers to support him. But murali has to single handedly take sri lanks to a victory.
Another reason would be character on and of the field. Murali has a better character than Warne.
Thus the two reasons make murali a better person.

Murali is the best bowler considered with the following reasons.
1. He underwent lot of pressure in countries like Australia 'cos the Australians don't want him to perform better than WArne.
2. Australian umpire Darryl Hair called him for no-ball several times. Most Australian umpires tend to call him no-ball even after he was cleared several times from the ICC 'cos they want him to under-perform.
3. If anybody observes him for few weeks, they could notice that he can turn the ball in any surface( even on a concrete)
4. The Australian Prime Minsiter who had no idea about Cricket was critisizing him.
5. But Shane Warne was never called no-ball for no reason and he always got the support from all the umpires.
When u consider these factors (MUTTIAH MURALITHERAN) MURALI is the GREATEST BOWLER.
