Has anyone on here tried using the patch? How did you get on with it?

Ive never used hormonal BC before so i dont want anything like teh injection or implant just yet, as i want to see how i get on with something that i can easily stop, ie either the pill or the patch, but i know i'd be likely to forget a pill. So just wondering how people got on with the patch.

My doc put me off it as her friend got pregnant two weeks after beginning using it! She said pill all the way, only I smoke and the pill makes me unhappy, so the Mirena seems to be the best option.

I was on the patch for 2 years and it did not affect me at all. You need to talk with a doctor and get a physical before you try it because every woman's body is different and it can have a different affect on you. Even though I had no side affects a friend of mine had several including hair loss and abnormal bleeding. That's why I say talk to a doctor first.

my cousins been on the patch for years shes says its better than pill as you dont forget to take and injection as it can put you weight on like it did me

Do not do the patch there is serious lawsuit going on now from people who have died. I am very serious about this.

I have the implanon in my arm, it lasts for three years is very easy to have put in and ive never had any problems with it, give it a go.

Yes, I wore it for 2 years, but I'm off it now. I had no problems during the time I wore it, but I'm hearing of problems from other people now. I'm thinking of trying Nuvaring.
