I have been having the absolute worst sinus pain and pressure that I have ever had in my life. It is affecting around my eyes, the side of my head and it is even making my teeth hurt. I am taking tylenol and sudafed and using a heating pad, but that only works sometimes. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow and was wondering what else I could possibly do until tomorrow to relieve this pain? Thank you!

My doctor is the one that told me to take the tylenol and sudafed until I could get in to see her. But it just isn't working that well at all.

Try taking a hot shower and keep up with the Tylenol sinus. I had the same trouble when I was pregnant and it seemed to do the trick. Also when you are not in the shower, get a hot washcloth and lay it across your eyes and nose. It really works well. If you can stand it, you can also put a pot of water on the stove and just let it boil all day. It will add moisture to the air, but if you have your AC running, it will make the AC work alot harder because of the humidity. Good luck!

Talk to your doctor first they should have a free 24 hr help line. they will give you a list of approved meds and their proper doses.

I used Tylenol Sinus, too as psuedofedrin and acetaminophen are generally safe. I don't know of any other approved medicine. try a steamy shower and vapor rub.

Take a steamy shower. It sometimes relieves the pressure of sinus pain.

You poor thing. I dealt with the same thing during my 1st and 2nd trimesters. I even went and got all my hair cut off in order to "relieve the pressure." LOL It was so frustrating because nothing seemed to work. Finally, I went to another doctor and he told me to increase my caffine intake by one or two cups a day. I know that sounds weird because we're told to limit caffine, but I have to tell you..it did WONDERS for my headaches. They didn't go away completely, but they weren't as often.

Best of luck. I know how frustrating it can be. I hope any suggestion works so you can get some relief.

Ask your doctor but my doctor said tylenol, sudafed, or tylenol sinus is fine for me. I'm 9 weeks. But def ask your OB first or doc.

Contact the doctor's office you are going for prenatal care and talk to the nurse...they can help you.

I always call mine if I have a question about something and they are very helpful...that is what they are there for.
